Harrison Park Work Day Feb 4

Calling all park goers, trail lovers, path hikers and river waders… Harrison Park needs your help!

As part of a large-scale plan to elevate Harrison Park to its fullest potential as a city amenity, one of many steps includes clearing specific sections so that the Ellijay River can be seen from the Park’s walking trail.

On Saturday, February 4 volunteers are needed to help prune, cut, rake, pick up debris, etc. Bring your gloves and tools and join us! 9:00am – 3:00pm

Harrison Park of Ellijay is a 26 acre parcel of land along the Ellijay River just 1/2 mile from Historic Downtown Ellijay off of McCutchen Street. The City of Ellijay and the Harrison Park Board of Directors plan to preserve the natural habitat along the Ellijay River while creating a beautiful park for all to enjoy.
